Detox Clay Bath Instructions – Blessed Earth® & Kids Clear™

How to Use Blessed Earth® & Kids Clear™ Detox Clay Baths

Detox clay baths are a natural way to support the body’s ability to remove toxins. Below are complete instructions for using Blessed Earth® Detox Clay and Kids Clear™ Detox Clay, including preparation, dosage, safety tips, and foot bath instructions.

Blessed Earth® Detox Clay Bath Instructions

Blessed Earth® Detox Clay is a 100% pure sodium bentonite clay known for its high cation exchange capacity (CEC), meaning it carries a strong negative ionic charge when mixed with warm water. This allows it to attract and bind positively charged toxins for elimination through the skin.

🛁 How to Prepare a Clay Bath

  1. Measure the Clay: Determine the amount based on severity (see chart below). Avoid inhaling dust—wear a dust mask. Seal the jar tightly after use.
  2. Fill the Tub: Begin with hot water. Sprinkle clay like icing sugar into running water. Stir with a plastic or stainless whisk until dissolved.
  3. Hydrate the Clay: Let the clay sit for 5 minutes. Adjust temp to 100–104°F (comfortably warm, not hot).
  4. Bathing: Carefully enter the tub. Soak as much of the body as possible. Lie on each side if full immersion isn’t possible.
  5. Rinse: Exit and rinse with tepid water. Shampoo in a separate stall if possible.
  6. Clean the Tub: Drain and swish any residue down. Add more water if needed.
  7. Hydrate & Moisturize: Apply lotion and drink an electrolyte-rich beverage like Emergen-C® or ConcenTrace®.
